Saints entertained Blue Star in the return fixture from earlier in
the season and hoping to get the same result against the now top
team in the league, the game started as a close affair with both
teams having chances and both failing to dominate not until 25 mins
when Anthony El-Kassir finished for the saints from inside the box.
Saints dominated the rest of the half but failed to capitalise on
it.
Half time Saints 1 Blue Star 0. The second half started with Blue
Star dominating the play but on 65 mins Liam Rowley Weaver Scored an
absolute screamer from a tight angle only for it to be disallowed by
the Ref . 10 mins later Blue Star equalised after a very bad
mistake by the Saints goalkeeper the game seemed to be going towards
a draw when on the 87th min Blue Star scored a superb effort from
outside the box a Fitting goal for the game and possibly the only
way the teams could have been separated 1-2 final result.
