Sunday’s Game played on a terrible pitch the Ref should have called it off but was under pressure from the league for it to go ahead very boggy and not really a game of football. Both teams played well under the conditions with Reddish taking a 2 goal lead in the first half but saints came back when on 35 min a free kick from the left side of the box was driven in by Declan Rudd into the back of the net then on the stroke of half time probably the goal of the season on the edge of the box Declan Rudd met a cross from D Gloor and executed an overhead kick Mr Rooney would have been proud of 2-2 half time.
The pitch was in a very sad state by the time the second half started and an even game took place as both teams struggled to play Reddish took the lead with Saints replying through Liam Rowley weaver saints went on to hit the post and bar a total of 3 times and regretted these misses when just before the final whistle Reddish scored from a free kick on the edge of the box the game finished 4-3 with both sets of players coming of looking as if they had been mud wrestling.
