Home match today Vs Kingsmead
Elliot was injured so Josh D stepped in to be Goalkeeper.
First half
Saints started really well and played some good football with
solid defence from the back four.

Shot from Jack N with Kingsmead’s goalie making a great save to
tip it over the bar
Another shot from Jack N which misses right provided from Jamie
from left side.
Jack N has another shot which went just over the bar
Saints had a free kick which Jack N took. Kingsmead’s goalkeeper
just did enough to send the ball wide.
Jack N shoots at goal from long range and scores.
Louis shoots at goal but again goalie saves.
At the other end Josh was making some good saves from Kingsmead.
At Half time Saints were only 3-1 down.
Second half
Saints looked to be tired after a great first half and started
to be second to the ball but they kept going.
Two shots from Louis and Jack N both just wide of the post.
In the end Kingsmead scored 3 more goals, with the last one
coming right at the end of the match which Josh made a brilliant
save, only to hit the back off him and unfortunately go into the
back of the net.
Final score Saints 1 Kingsmead 6
Overall a better performance from the lads today especially in
the first half and on another day could have scored more if not
for Kingsmead’s goalie making some good saves. Easily one of the
better games the lads have played this season. Well done to all
the team and our defending which was more solid and the effort
you put in today.
Nick and Kirstie decided to give P.O.M to Josh D for standing in
goal and making some great saves to keep us in it and also to
Liam for his defensive work in front of the back four.
