Macclesfield saints Vs Rudheath
GOAL CRAZY!!
That seems to be what has happened to the saints in recent weeks.
The parents and spectators have waited four years to see the saints
hit double figures in a game and its now happened twice in three
games!
It would be difficult to recall the action from a first half which
finished 7-1 but goals came in order from George Crowley, Tom Cawley,
Adam Leonard, Patrick Swallow, Kai Loftus with a brace and Adam
Cartwright with a long range stunner to close out the half.
As the week before whilst still maintaining control of the game in
most parts the goal rush dried up somewhat in the second half but
the total was added to by Owen Taylor, Ben Heginbotham and Josh
Churchman who was also man of the match after giving the left back
of the visitors a torrid morning.
The saints deservedly sit top of the league after this game and its
a pity we have two weeks of cup games just when we are picking up
momentum, but i also feel we have the perfect opportunity to send
out a message that we can mix it with the 1st division teams before
we return to league action.
