Macclesfield Saints v Egerton tatton
Saints were playing their last home game of the season against Egerton tatton who are currently second on the league table. Today was going to be a tough game.
Great start from Saints when sam picked up the ball,a great pass to jack who sent the ball wide to Louis's feet he controlled the ball well despite pressure from an Egerton player and coolly dipped the keeper.1-0.
Egerton applied pressure to get the equaliser and it wea left to harry to clear a very dangerous ball inside the box.
From an egerton goal kick jamie won the ball and send a long ball towards Louis,unfortunately the ball was travelling to fast and the keeper came out.
Egerton still applying pressure but fortunately for saints Harry was there again to clear.
A throw in to Egerton showed some promise when Egerton showed some great skill inside the box and passed the ball well. however Gerald was more than a match for any Egerton player and calmly cleared the ball with a controlled header to Jack then Liam and Louis who skilled player after player until Egerton eventually won the ball.
Egerton still looking for a goal pushing foward only to be stopped in their tracks by a well organised saints defence. Some great skill shown by an Egerton player put pressure on saints just outside the box,but Harry didn't let his side down and made a very strong tackle winning the ball.
A free kick was given against Saints was taken quickly and forced a corner,the corner was well taken and a shot clipped the cross bar and over.
Soon after another free kick to Egerton was awarded it was left for Mike,James,Jamie and eventually Liam to clear the danger.
Egerton were having a lot of the ball and creating chances and Gerald was busy clearing the dangerous balls with his head and his sheer strength.
Egerton shot wide and were now playing well and passing the ball.
A free kick to Saints Was sent into the mix by Sam picked up by Jack,Louis and Jamie who's effort was headed off the line.
Saints were looking for the passes,they didn't always working but that didn't matter they were working as a team.
Free kick to Egerton,Alex headed away. Liam showed great strength and more than matched any Egerton player.
Sam came of injured by a late tackle jack b replaced him.
With minutes to go to half time Egerton hit back and forced Joe to make save after save. Saints were lucky to go into halftime level.

second half
Joe had to make a save early in the second half which he did comfortably.
Mike,Josh,James and Alex worked hard to keep Egerton away.
Jack worked hard when forced towards the corner flag managed to turn and send the ball to liam who's shot was held by the keeper.
Joe made an excellent save at the other end which went wide for a corner,joe punched the corner ball away.Egerton were looking the stronger side.
Louis and Jamie came off replaced by Josh and sam.
Egerton soon scored two goals one after the other no 9 with a fabulous volley 1-2 followed by a long dipping shot.1-3.
Saint responded well Mike with a pass down the right wing to Sam carried the ball into Jack for him to Score his first of the game 2-3.
Jack clearly didn't want to lose this game slotted goal no three home supported by all his team mates 3-3.
Egerton were still a really good side and were still shooting at every opportunity.
A corner from sam led to Saint taking the lead again,James headed into the back of the net.4-3.
With not long left egerton responded with an equaliser.4-4.
Both teams were pushing for the win both sets of spectators were enjoying the game and cheering them on.
Sam with his usual well placed cross set jack up for his hat rick giving Saints the lead again 5-4.
Could they hold onto this deserved lead,Saints battled to the end and had more shots on target from Liam,Sam and Jack.
Full time 5-4.
