Sandbach Utd Eagles v Macclesfield Saints
TEAM: Alex, Jack N, Sam, Liam, Louis, Josh, Mike, James, Jack B, Joe, Gerald, Edward, Tom.
1St Half
Saints started well with an early goal from Jack N. Mike was unlucky with a great run down the wing. Sam had the next chance but to be kicked off the line by a Sandbach player. Liams shot was also stopped by an excellent header off the line by a Sandbach player. Saints were playing well but needed to keep their positions. Sandbach made the saints work hard and had some chances.
Saints next chance came with a long shot from Sam the keeper pushed away but Jack got the rebound. Saints were 2-0 up at half time.
2nd Half
Sandbach scored next from the kick off. Sandbach had upped their game and were having a lot of possession. Saints had a few more shots from Sam, tom and Jack.
Saints defence were not quick enough when Sandbach attacked, keeper Joe touched the ball but couldn't stop it. Sandbach worked hard and deserved there second goal.
Despite Shots from Jack, Josh and Tom the game finished 2-2.
