Winsford Diamonds

Whites: Lewis Forshaw(c), Ben Heginbotham, Kai Greasby, Lewis Cheadle, Scott Dinsley, Tom Cawley, James Wright, George Crowley, Joe Heginbotham. 

The Whites overall were disappointing after last weeks heroics. They gave Winsford a head start and although Scott Dinsley equalised we quickly gave the advantage back and Winsford were not going to relinquish the lead again. There were positives (MOM) Tom Cawley never stopped running, George Crowley was unlucky not to score after getting in good positions twice and no one went missing against a very physical team but ultimately a slow start cost the whites once again.

Blues: Callum Bailey, Harry Nesbit(c), George Wilson, Daniel Tute, Adam Leonard, Josh Churchman, Owen Taylor, Leon Jackson .

The blues goal rush continued a pace this week and really highlighted what a fast start can do for a team. (MOM) Josh Churchman celebrated his first ever Saints Hat-trick and was joined on the score sheet by Adam Leonard twice, Owen Taylor and Leon Jackson, at one point only the ref hadn't had a shot on goal, a cracking all round performance only blemished by a consolation goal which ruined Callum's clean sheet hopes.
