Rudheath
Whites: Lewis Forshaw, Ben Heginbotham, Kai Greasby, Lewis Cheadle, Scott
Dinsley, Tom Cawley(c), James Wright, George Crowley, Joe Heginbotham.
The Whites started with there best 5 minutes of the season going 1-0 up through George Crowley and dominating the game. Unfortunately Rudheath got a lucky break and scored causing Saints heads to go down once again, by half time it was 4-1 to the visitors and things were looking bleak. There's usually only one way back into games like this and it needs a massive effort from everyone, the Whites showed they had the heart today grabbing one back through Scott Dinsley, Ben Heginbotham soon adding the pressure with another. When Tom Cawley equalised we would have taken the draw but Scott broke through again brilliantly rounding the keeper to grab the win. James Wright was (MOM) for a top performance in the second half.
Blues: Callum Bailey, Harry Nesbit(c),Daniel Tute, Adam Cartwright, Patrick Swallow, Adam Leonard, Josh Churchman, Owen taylor, Leon Jackson.
The blues opened fire on Rudheath in the second game. Crisp passing going
forward saw chance after chance created, Adam Leonard hit a hat-trick, Adam
Cartwright struck twice and (MOM) Owen Taylor scored before an own goal finished
the rout off. Another great showing.
Thanks to Martin for the report.
