Hartford Boys
Whites: Lewis Forshaw, Ben Heginbotham(c), Kai Greasby, Lewis Cheadle, Scott
Dinsley, Tom Cawley, James Wright, George Crowley, Joe Heginbotham
The Whites put in a great 1st half performance as Hartford tried to bully them out of the game. Ben Heginbotham opened the scoring closely followed by Tom Cawley who's excellent strike couldn't be held by the keeper. Unfortunately the 2nd half performance was terrible and the boys were unlucky to get away with a draw but for the (MOM) Lewis Cheadle and the rest of the defence this could easily have been a defeat.
Blues: Callum Bailey, Harry Nesbit, George Wilson, Daniel Tute, Leon Jackson, Patrick Swallow, Adam Leonard(c), Josh Churchman, Owen Taylor .
The blues were disappointing in there 1st game of the year. There were no
real highlights and the only chances created were when it was too late. There
was no man of the match which is a first this was down to a real lack lustre
display, too many mince pies hopefully.
Thanks to Martin for the report.
