The Saints went into half time level at 2-2, with first half goals from Callum Wright and Jack Naylor.
In the second half Jack Naylor bagged himself another goal and sealed a 3-2 win for Macc Saints.
It was a hard physical game. Hartford attacked strong with periods of good passing but Saints stood strong and earned a good win.

With an injured Saints Goalkeeper and no substitutes, Saints had to play with 6 players!!!
As a goodwill gesture Hartford also dropped their numbers to 6.
Saints went 0-1 down before pulling back level for half time with a goal from Douglas Swallow.
Into the second half, a second goal from Doug put Saints 2-1 up, shortly followed by 2 goals from Reece Massey. Despite Hartford's excellent passing Macc won the game through equally excellent passing skills in the second half.
A great game to watch and a special mention to Edward Harvey who stood in as goalkeeper at the last minute!
