Saturday 26th January v Cuddington

Thanks to Cuddington for allowing us to switch the fixture away from our waterlogged home pitch.

Match 1:

Team A. Lewis Forshaw, Harry Nesbit(c), Ben Heginbotham, Kai Greasby, Jess Tomlinson, Adam Leonard, Scott Dinsley, Joe Heginbotham, Leon Jackson.

Team A were always in control of this game and took an early lead through Scott Dinsley,  this was closely followed by Adam Leonard getting on the score sheet after a nice move down the right which Harry, Kai and Jess all had a hand in.

 Scott then grabbed his second to send the saints in to half time with a 3-0 lead. More of the same followed in second half as Joe Heginbotham came of the bench to score and a good mornings work was capped off by Player of the Match Jess Tomlinson scoring her 1st goal for the club from the penalty spot.

Match 2:

Team B. Callum Bailey, George Wilson, Daniel Tute, Tom Cawley, Devon Blinkho (c), Daniel Dolling, Josh Churchman, Maddy Odell, Patrick Swallow, James Wright.

Team Bs game started a little more end to end and Player of the Match George Wilson showed great composure early on after being left exposed, it didn't take long for the Saints to find there feet and Devon Blinkho haunted Cuddington again as he opened the scoring.

 There then came an astonishing goal from Josh Churchman as he turned and lobbed the keeper from well outside the box to make it 2-0 at half time. The Saints pushed on in the second half and both Devon and Josh doubled there goal tally and Daniel Tute scored a poachers goal inside the box late in the game.

Congratulations to all the players for there 3rd double victory of the season.

Thank you to Cuddington for switching the games to there pitch which was surprisingly dry and thanks to the parents for making the journey we shouldn't have had to.
